2020.05.10: 28 consecutive days without new local cases – Journal of Wuhan Coronavirus in Taiwan 武漢肺炎在臺灣
440 (+0) cases / 6 deaths / 366 (+5) released
349 imported / DunmuFleet 36 / 55 local
The confirmed cases in the world have been achieved over 4 million, while Taiwan has gone 28 consecutive days without new local cases. Why are the figures still increasing even though most of the countries are locked down? The help Taiwan can do is limited if they always go outside without wearing masks, there’s nothing anyone can help before the medicines and vaccines are invented.
We have to compromise and sacrifice some privacies and freedom for keeping healthy from time to time. To protest against the isolation is acceptable but please wearing masks.
No new local cases for 28 days in a row is a key indication of successfully defeating the coronavirus because one period of incubation is 14 days, two times more than it means the crisis of community infection is totally resolved.
連續 28 天零本土新增案例是成功控制武漢肺炎疫情的關鍵指標，因為一個潛伏期是 14 天，兩個潛伏期代表社區感染的風險已經徹底解除了。
Everything seems well in Taiwan, but citizens still follow the policies, wearing masks, washing hands, keeping social distance…etc. So, if people live in severe countries who must do measure more strictly. The more ones follow the prevention, the more people can go back to their normal lives sooner.
Somehow China was mad at Taiwan had passed the first reading of removing the texts in the law that says Taiwan wants to dominate China because it’s impossible and inappropriate nowadays. Why did China go crazy on it? We really can’t get it. Or China desires Taiwan to unite them? Humm… if so, why not give Taiwan your authority of China? It’s ridiculous.
Greedy people and hasty policies have become a disaster. Some citizens claimed their finance on the decrease but couldn’t prove it, the local government and the central government and the CDC… Yes, the CDC, in charge of this compensation together, but aren’t on the same page. Hum… comparing the unemployment rate in the US has hit 14.7%, the economic crisis in Taiwan is not as serious as them… that’s a shame.
